White has little time to stay around, so it is in the interest of Blue to make white play his moves. I'd probably play 6/off 6/4, which makes White play his moves, only blots on 65, leaves an even-ended position, and bears a checker off (good for those variations in which Blue is hit). Maybe 6/4(2) 2/off(2) is better, because White may not stay along long enough for the odd-ended-ness to matter. Third is, I think, 6/4(2) 5/3*/1, which has as advantage that White is out of the way on 6s (except 63), but has more blot numbers and delays White. 5/3(3)* 3/1 is probably the worst plausible play, delaying white more, and leaving 4 immediate shot numbers.
