I didn't see this one before responding to the other one. I'm not so sure about this one. I think that I would again play 5/off 5/1 because the race is closer here so bearing off a checker is important. There are no immediate blotting rolls and White is even less likely to be hanging around than in the previous position. So you can almost treat this like a non-contact bearoff (except of course you're not going to leave a blot on the 5-point!) and ask which play is more efficient. 5/off 5/1 bears off a checker, which is usually important when you have an odd number of checkers left, but it creates another gap which will lead to misses later on.
