Which doublets are hardest to play?

In the first position counter-priming didn't look like a viable game plan even before you threw a high double. I would just make the board 8/4(2) 6/2(2). As for the second, owning the cube would seem to me to make 13/9(2) 8/4*(2)fairly clear.
