You probably have good reason (e.g., multiple problems with one diagram) for making the wildcard roll the third roll rather than the second, though just to let you know, I organize my data by third rolls. I usually find that when the first and third roll are the same (i.e., on the opening player's first and second turns), it more easily lends itself to the type of comparison analysis found (for example) here.

You're right about "one diagram = multiple problems" reason.
But after I've read your post, I've found couple more problems with the same first and third roll. When I finish what is already started, I will start to roll them out.
