What do you call that number?

Okay, Matt. It's like, when I want to go out to eat and Randee gives me a list of places she doesn't want to go, and then I keep guessing and she keeps saying no, I don't like that either. So instead of telling me what you don't like, tell me what you do like.
First, I want to know if this procedure is correct, because there is some confusion about it.
If I have 40 percent wins and 20 percent of the time I get gammoned and 10 percent of the time I win gammons, if I subtract 10 from 20 and get 10, and the price of gammons is .5 for both sides, that 10 has a gammon adjusted value of 5. Now if I subtract 5 from 40, I get 35. And my take point is 20, so I know it is a big take because 35 is higher than 20.
Question 1: is that an accurate way to decide if it is a take or drop? Question 2: is Stick's method any more or less accurate? Question 3: what name would you give to the 35 number?
Can I be any plainer than this?
