Nack: For the moments that the hour and minute hands are at exactly 120 degrees to each other, I believe the smallest deviance of the second hand is 1 and 9/11 seconds (from the third 120), and occurs four times a day: at 2:54 and 6/11 minutes, and at 9:05 and 3/11 minutes, a.m. and p.m.
However, that probably doesn't answer your question.
I was mostly joking with the last sentence. The nearest total-angle misses occur a second or two from the exact times I mentioned. That is, at a moment between 2:54:34 and 2:54:35, and again between 9:05:25 and 9:05:26, both a.m and p.m. (Note the symmetry around 12:00.) I doubt that the difference from [120, 120, 120] can be discerned with the naked eye :)
