Hitting helps Black's timing, but I'd hit with 24/22* anyway. I'd like to make that point and have the option of switching to a 13 or 23 backgame. I'd play 24/18 with the 6, since I want to leave the 22pt slotted. I wouldn't mind making Black's bar either, not in hopes of hitting a shot, but to maybe foster a little awkwardness in his position while I'm building my board.
