Scrambling two checkers home

Is it 21/15 12/7 or just running one man home with 12/1? The first play leaves White 15 shots at one of your 2 blots. If White rolls a deuce, he'll have a decent chance at picking up your other blot as well which will really hurt your racing chances. OTOH, I think you'll be able to give a strong redouble if White misses with anything except D6 or D4. 12/1 lets White pound away with any 5 or 1, 32, D2, or D4 - 24 numbers altogether. 51 and D5 PoH, D2 switches, while the others are loose hits. You won't have a cube after any of these 24 numbers or after the non-hitting D6 (and maybe some others).
So that's 19 immediate cubes one way vs. 11 or less the other. That's a big enough difference to justify leaving a 2nd blot, IMHO.
