If you want to bring a single checker home, the best way tends to be to move it in that direction >> It's not just about counting shots, when the difference is small and there aren't any inside vs. outside considerations to worry over, as is the case here.

If we're hit with a number that leaves an inside blot, we can consider doubling from the bar, depending on the particulars. If we're missed, our cube strategy depends in part on how far the miss has advanced Creature. (Have to call him something, and in the thread below, he still hasn't told us what.)
