Real checkerplay problem

This looks like the wrong time to break the anchor... just asking to be attacked. Likewise giving up the midpoint, which would just leave total control of the outfield to Black and isn't even safe. A loose hit would be attractive if it came from the 3pt, but here it just overruns the position. About the only point White can afford to give up is the 8pt, but the checkers don't go to good places. That leaves 22/14, which looks like an okay play. White will be happy if he gets away with it and not too unhappy if he's hit.
