With the plan of rolling an ace from the bar?

I don't like it. I don't think the position calls for a desparation play like that. The 2 drawbacks as I see it are that you hit the checker on the ace point and also you are not sure of rolling the ace. If you don't build the acepoint anchor, then the opponent will likely hit on his acepoint to stop you from anchoring and then you are really in trouble.
