With White's 2 homeboard blots, I looked at paying now. But I decided not to do so because (1) the race is very close and we are certainly not gin if missed. And if we are hit, (2) we could fan on White's 4-point board or, if we hit back, (3) we have a homeboard blot ourself. So, instead I played 5/3 making our 2 point since there might still be contact, and 10/4, so as not to have a blot on our ace point but to have maximum checkers bearing on it. 10/4 5/3
