If after a medium or larger brick from white, you dont want to redouble, or are possibly too good (depends on the brick), then you dont wish you had beavered it?

I don't know what the word "brick" means in this context. However, even if I did, the above sentence still doesn't make any sense to me. Who is "you"? It looks like "you" is someone who had the option of beavering. That means that "you" must be White. But you're not seriously suggesting that there's a likely scenario here in which White becomes too good all of a sudden?

If I'm Blue and I become too good, then yes, I would certainly wish that I had doubled and White had beavered. But that is an argument for Blue to double and for White not to beaver.
