16 Cube from a chouette

I'm still curious as to what the word "brick" means.
I assume it comes from basketball, where you like your shot to have a "soft bounce" (mostly caused by a high arch with some back spin) when it misses, so it "dies" over the rim and has a chance to fall in. "Throwing up a brick" is the opposite; the ball hits hard, clangs the rim or backboard and rebounds long, so it doesn't have that second chance to drop in. More generically, a "brick" is any ugly or bad shot.
