Elderly players and time clocks

In Response To: Elderly players and time clocks (Marv Porten)

1. That elderly player not named lost his match on time but he was gin anyway and would have lost his match no matter what.

2. There must be a unified rule and approved by all TDs for such cases and canīt be left to the discretion of different TDīs to handle properly.

3. Its very tough to define a correct handling of such case, based on the kind and degree of disability.

4. In that specific case, maybe an extended delay time on the clock of 15 seconds instead of 12 seconds for both players would be the right decision? No clue ! Just a guess...

Thatīs something for the Rules dept., of the USBGF to define.
