We're behind by a pip after our play. That's effectively a 5 pip deficit, perhaps a pip less if we correct for her open 5-point. It means playing for the contact, to try for a shot of our own or to induce additional wastage. These factors trump the single extra immediate shot risk.

I'm with the 16/9 voters.
