Elderly players and time clocks

UBK is one of those people that is going to have a very hard time making a case for more time due to age alone. After 30 years of consistently allowing his clock to run down to 10 seconds and never timing out, how does he suddenly argue that it is unfair for him to be forced to play under time pressure?

I agree with others that physical disability that impairs one's ability to see the dice, or to lift the dice, shake, roll, move the checkers and hit the clock should be the only consideration for providing a time control adjustment or to allow an assistant - subject to director's judgment.
