Physical disabilities

Tom's suggestions look good to me. Since they have used clocks forever, the chess community has a long history of accomodating for players with disabilities, and very few issues with it as I recall. The chess rulebook doesn't spell everything out, which would be fruitless to attempt anyway. It does say that reasonable accomodations must be made, and talks about assistants to move the pieces, hit the clock, etc. The idea of giving a disabled person more time to help accomodate them makes a lot of sense. But, as others have said, make the accomodations before the match begins.
