Elderly players and time clocks

If one of the dice goes flying off the board and it takes 5 minutes to locate, do 5 minutes come off your clock?
I do, you center the clock until you find the dice. You do not reset it so that you have your full delay time.
Intentionally cocking your dice to gain an advantage is no more acceptable than intentionally making a misplay to gain an advantage.
When you make any form of cheating easier for the individual they're more apt to do it. They can't get caught trying to cock the dice, they won't be reported to a TD like they would for making illegal plays, they won't get a bad reputation. It's simple to cock your dice and make it look like you rolled normally, almost as easy as rolling your dice and not cocking them.
Comparing sending dice flying off a board to cocking them isn't fair. One is a near blatant act that would be noticed, the other is not. Also, what kind of a pain in the ass is it to reset the clock every time someone cocks their dice. A much better solution, let the clock run, learn to roll.
