I think if you intentionally cocked your dice enough for the extra time to make a difference, it would certainly be noticed. If you're saying you could get away with it one time and steal a couple extra seconds to finish a pip count, yeah maybe you could, big deal in that case.

The broader point is that it is very difficult to prove intent and there are a lot of rules that you can intentionally break with it being nearly impossible to prove you did it on purpose. That doesn't change the fact that you shouldn't do it.
