In Response To: 62 to play (Timothy Chow)

Not saying I'd play it but would have definitely considered it even without the QF. Three questions that creep into my thoughts:

1. Which play wins the most games?
2. Which play wins the most gammons?
3. Which play loses the most gammons?

Here I think it's safe to say that running clearly wins the most games, 9, 5 clearly wins the most gammons and it also probably loses more gammons, though not a significant amount. (when compared to the other figures) Does 9,5 win enough gammons to override not only the single wins but the few extra gammon losses? I doubt it, but it was worth thinking about.
