I tried the same computation but came up with slightly different results.
Opp : A single deuce twice in a row = 100/1296 ~ 7%
Opp : An single ace three times in a row = 1000/46656 ~ 2% (in all honesty I had overlooked that one)
Us : A double 4 or higher in two rolls = 23/144 ~ 16%
Same, but White rolls a double 3 or higher in two rolls = -17/81 ~ -2%
Us : Two high numbers (but not a double) followed by a double 2 or 3 = 12/1296 ~ 1%
It adds up to 24% but with at least 1% of overlap. Now the problem is that I can't see any of those situations where we have an even remotely efficient recube. So 23% can't be enough.
