Any frequent visitor of bgonline forum reading this thread would probably run the analysis, gaze at the fantastically produced numbers, accurate and fast, then search for all the clever reasons for agreeing with the results and even offer a semi-articulate blurb. Sure, it is not too difficult to reach for conventional considerations and find reasonable justifications for no redouble, a non-human correct decision. This makes Snowie’s ET designation sound suitable.
Do we have any other tools for scrutinizing the dynamics of a match if it happens to be between a giant and a diminutive? What if the holder of the 4 cube is a huge underdog who comes in with almost no expectation to win? Having to grind through an 11 point match one game at a time would be slow suicide. Just as his opponent uses intimidation tactics that have no quantifiable dimensions for the bots, the holder of the cube has to seek opportunities where he can utilize auxiliary measures to defeat the giant. Point in case, shoot the cube to the sky when you are about 2 to 1 favorite with many market-losers, opponent’s 6 point gone with 3 checkers on 1 point, 17 numbers to hit a checker in the outfield and three builders to point on the other checker – albeit duplicated numbers. I bet (don’t bother, I have inside information) this is what he was thinking: look for high volatility positions where you are a big favorite then ship the cube without even referring to your opponent’s famous numbers (fascinating stuff by the way).
A handful of giants and large-size human beings confirmed that strategy.
