This seems clearer to me at DMP than for money. Running and not getting hit seems to gain more at DMP, and running and getting hit seems to lose less at DMP.

But I'm not sure what you mean by "clear." For a bot, presumably "clear" means a big equity difference, but since you specifically disavowed the bots here, does "clear" mean that I, as a human being, find it obvious? If so, then by no means is the choice obvious to me. Given that I'm not confident that running is best, it follows that I'm even less confident of how much better it is.
