Hand #5: I don't 3 bet the flop. If I 3 bet he'll simply call, I'll bet out on the turn and then if he has middle pair or was chasing, he'll simply fold. He might even (he should) fold a hand as stellar as K9. I want more bets in the pot. I call, know he's betting the turn regardless of what it is, if I boat I smooth call the turn too and let him bet the river before I checkraise, if not, I checkraise the turn and hope I get him to call me down. [they usually do, as you can see... remarkable]

Hand #6: I really see no good coming from betting the turn. As I said, the only cards that can hurt me are the other 3 queens (in almost all variations) so me betting out usually gets fold + fold from the other two players. When I check I at least try to suck one of them in to making the bet and get one big bet out of it. The way the scenario went down is an exception to the rule kind of thing and I'd happily play it the same if the same scenario arose (hoping my guy didn't have diamonds lol) Even with diamonds there most ppl, being last to act and having a checked flop & turn, would take a stab at it, hoping to either win it there or suckout on the river. Surprised he didn't. Either way this hand it would have cost me the same amount of bets if I bet out, he'd surely chase, but overall I have to check that turn.
