This far behind in the race we would like to maximize contact, build a board, and hit a shot. Candidate plays are bar/24 13/10, bar/22 6/5, bar/24 8/5, and bar/21. I think the score makes some difference here. Black is going to have a quick trigger finger if he sees a chance to hit a blot and win a gammon. So I would shy away from bar/22 6/5 and bar/24 8/5 here. Bar/21 is the safest for avoiding the gammon and it has the advantage of threatening Black's outfield blots immediately. However, it does make it easier to Black to play safely past our anchor. I prefer bar/24 13/10. It starts to build the front position and maximizes contact. At 2-away/4-away I would play bar/21 but at 2-away/3-away I think we can afford to be a little bolder.
