Hit first of all. If he doesn't get in next time, I throw the cube, plus he has a vulnerable checker in his home I might hit if he does get in with a 2 or 11. 9/5 for extra cover for the 2 spot and to eliminate the possibility of a 36 return. Last two I see nothing better than moving to the 18. We need to get those two moving even if we lose our 'safe' spot. I considered 7/3(2) but I would rather keep the bar in case he gets in on a 1 and also for extra coverage for the 2. Having 4 home board points compared to 3 does change the entry chances from 75% to 56% if I remember correctly, but I like my play better.
2nd choice, run the trailing two all the way as he needs a 1/6 to hit. However, if he escapes his trailing checker safely we lose the game so I really don't like that play. We are already behind in the pip count.
Dang brother of mine ate all the oatmeal.
