I make a lot of "intermediate" type plays, but I don't want to be an intermediate player, so if my thinking is all wrong and it needs to be "obvious" to me, then I want somebody telling me so.

What I was trying to say in my post was that an analysis of the position would have been more helpful than several postings saying "What? Your opp passed this?" "Passing would never cross my mind" and so on.

Everybody who can handle a bot can spot his intermediate plays instantly. You don't need this board for that.

What you want, and I assume that's also true for you, is reasons and analysis of a position or decision. And regarding this position in question, I have been the first trying to give these with my limited understanding of BG.

And yes, Chase is right: Having all these WC players in here contributing their ideas and positions is a priceless resource that I don't want to miss. What I wrote was only directed at the thread that Rory started.

And, Jason, if I ever come to LV to play in a big event and face you over the real board, there is no way that I look at you as an intermediate player. Your "lot of intermediate plays" will very soon become a rarity in your matches. I suspect you are already pretty good, and for sure you will be WC in very few years.
