All right, I'm going to use a Stickism and call this a lying subject line. WTF is "easy" about this play?!

I've taken quite a liking to Chase's rule of thumb about playing against an anchor and a guard: Hit the guard on your first awkward roll. Applying this rule of thumb is complicated here by the presence of two guards. Here it seems to make sense to me to hit the ace-point guard. It is the more annoying one and hitting it unstacks the 6-point. Then 8/7 seems more-or-less forced.

I don't like the plays that don't hit a guard (13/7 and 8/7/2) because they don't seem to make any progress towards solving our inflexibility problems. So the other candidate is 8/3*/2, but this leaves more shots and seems to gain less when it does work.
