Why say no to have your matches recorded?

In my vision of the future, everyone in a tournament would play on an electronic board. Boards would be connected by wifi to a tournament server.
Players would "log in" at the beginning of their match. The server would verify that the correct players are playing, then transmit back to the board the correct match length and time settings.
Dice rolls would come from the server; i.e., a player would hit the "roll" button and this which would generate a request to the server for a random dice roll. All games would be logged, every play recorded on the server.
Selected matches would be broadcast on the internet in real time. At the end of the tournament, you could purchase a set transcripts for all the games in the tournament.
A few dusty old wooden boards would be kept around in case of a server crash. :-)
