Why say no to have your matches recorded?

In Response To: Why say no to have your matches recorded? (svilo)

If all tournament matches were recorded and all matchfiles published at a website or better yet in a public webbased database, then we'd have a lot more knowledge of who are the good players and who are the great players.

We could have ER rankings based purely on live tournament matches. I believe people would pay a lot of attention to such a ranking if it was complete.
