Although I have been hobbled to various degress since before Labor day, I just got this diagnosis on Thursday. I don't understand this well enough yet to know what to expect. For now, they are treating me for menopause.

I'm supposed to play in a Chess tournament in Las Vegas in 10 days. I have been seriously thinking about cancelling despite all of the sunk costs for the same reasons I cancelled my plans this weekend. It sounds like I should consider what happened to you.
