This is from my Dubrovnik match yesterday and I chose the "kill or be killed" approach and hit loose.

Perhaps this is too gammonish or maybe if it is technically correct I should still play 8/6? However, I was sure that this opp was going to simply pound my blot if ans when his dice allowed...ie he wasn't going to blunder if I left him off the bar.

To be considered is that I am about 135 Elo stronger than this opp so my chances if I just lose a single game are better then the 32.3% I'd have vs an equal player. Perhaps that fact should swing a close decision here?

Anyhow.. I thought it was technically correct to hit and hope.

I'll do a 4 ply RO and post tomorrow night .. neilkaz ..
