I don't have an exact name for -2-4 score, but who needs one anyhow? It is basically cubeful GS since it becomes GS for me as soon as I am doubled in, which is a very common occurance at this score in W/C play.
I suppose it could be "pseudo gammon save" or "gammon protect," but if the leader gains the advantage and gammons mostly disappear, the situation becomes radically different from gammon save (as you know). So rather than create a special name for the score, I'd stick with "-2-4" as you and I and others have done (or "2a4a").
