I know what you're saying, but it's going too far to say "they should not be giants." In chess, Petrosian once blundered away a queen. Kramnik missed a mate in one playing an important match against a computer. That means they weren't world class? And those were errors in their own games, not just some silly quiz question that they were shown and might not care about.
