I don't see why the horse has any obligation --moral or otherwise -- to its Calcutta buyer. There is no fiduciary relationship. The buyer presumably will evaluate not only the horse's BG skill, etc., but also its personality, ethics, etc. And whether the horse likes mud, of course. No way should the horse be required in a manner it considers unethical in order to please its buyer. This does not extend to out and out fraud on the horse's part, such as throwing a match in return for payment from a rival Calcutta buyer.
