In Response To: Chicago ABT Finals (Gregg Cattanach)

Gregg, in order to make him correct his move you must very quickly, before he picks up his dice, catch it and stop him. You have no time to think about it, because if you wait, you may be too late. the point is you only have the "option" if you wait until he picks up the dice.

Why do you think most of us agree, in advance now, to play legal moves? 1. Because we think it is fairer that way; 2. because it doesn't mess up match recordings; 3. because we are not put in the ethical dilemma of having to decide whether to "take advantage" of an innocent mistake by our opponent; 4. because we believe it reduces, rather than encourages, the possibility of someone thinking that we might have intentionally done something to unfairly take advantage of our opponent.
