Your window at this score is so impossible to find in positions with contact (gammons) left in them I simply don't waste the time on my clock and roll on. When you do find the window you correctly double and in theory don't blow about .02 in equity according to the bot. When you've misinterpreted the position and it was actual no double (the vast majority of the time) you will find yourself making middle sized, large, and extra large errors.

The only time I cube scores like this (-3 -6 or more) with contact is when I know my opponent doesn't understand the score implications and will drop.

ND for me. If this is the biggest error you have to worry about in any given weekend, you've been promoted to best player in the world, congrats.

If someone cubes you at this score and it isn't 'clearly' tg, take and call it a day.
