I usually spend time on plays that require calculating match equities or counting shots or counting the race.

I don't need any of those calculations here.

Dumping a checker deep, keeping an anchor that will be primed in a roll if I don't do something (having a better board now is as good a time as ever to do something), leaving a ton of good rolls to my opponent is just not my style.

Coming out has great diversion value and chances are we will get some returns. If I just dump a checker to the deuce my opponent can pretty much do whatever he pleases.
