What play would I make if the cube had not been turned? 4 down would be gin basically. But would I have a better play? Maybe. What would be the risk/reward for making the 5 point? 1-1 would be the only real risk. Even then I would be a favorite. So, with the cube turned, my risk is losing some scrambling game where brown has to escape, and blitz simultaneously. It happens and I don't win that many gammons in this position, but goodness gracious sakes alive I win some gammons when he tries to win and fails and this looks like a 4-4 I would want to have fun with. 13/5(2).
