I'm always torn on which I prefer ... backgammon is played with a doubling cube so when I'm confident in the bot's doubling decisions I prefer rollouts w/the doubling cube in play. Obviously Snowie's bot decisions are better than 99.X% of humans out there so I can typically trust a cubeful rollout from Snowie.

The speed isn't exactly why I do cubeless, the number of trials to get a statistically significant result is greatly reduced in cubeless rollouts w/Snowie. (usually more than halved, often even more! you'll notice I switch doing some rollouts cubeful/cubeless in our OLM and that correlates to how much free computer rollout time I have lol)
