I agree Bob. The Kleinman formula works pretty well for raw pip counts and also usually for pip counts +/- Ward type adjustments but not for EPC's. i.e. An EPC of 30 on roll vs. a 31 EPC gives the fav about 78% cubeless chances but the Kleinman formula for a 30-31 race only gives the favorite around 68% chances.
