3-1 to play

After 8/5* 6/5 there are 24 rolls that cover [11 22 44 55 64 62 54 52 43 42 41 32 31 21] and of the other 12 rolls 53 makes the ace point and everything else the blot can be lifted except with 66 and 65.
After 8/5* 4/3 there are 25 rolls that cover [11 33 55 65 63 54 53 52 51 43 41 32 31 21] and 42 and 22 can be used to make the ace point. Of the other 8 rolls only 4 of them can be used to lift the blot while 4 also leave another shot. Also, 55 may cover but should it be counted as a cover since you have to shift to the ace point in a game you need to play to the end?
Any other factors? Why yes there are. After the shifting 6/5 your opponent's hitting 64 doesn't play so hot whereas after 4/3 55 doesn't play that great, but certainly better than 64 in the other variation. I also believe the diversification of the covering numbers v. the mini prime will make a small difference. I think all of this adds up to sliding 6/5 as the best play.
To be complete a later addition thanks to another post, 41 after shifting plays god awful for your opponent.
