I hit and make the 3. The position seems to flow the most naturally from there. I do not like the trading point play 8/5(2) that much - that seems to further increase the ugliness of the stack on the 6. I think 24/18 is interesting - it seems passive, but by taking away return shots it will make it possible to use builders and build your position. Could be right.
