Sequence

I had assumed this to be an eighth roll position -- sequence below :)
62S-42P*-65S-51R*-31
42P-54S-64R-21X-F-52@-61R-31
In case 64S is slightly better than 64R in that sequence, here's a ninth roll sequence that's flawless for sure:
62S-64R-61@-42P-52D-F-65R-61R-31
If is is a fifth roll position, the lowest-ER sequence appears to be 62S-42P-65S-42R-31, as you surmised. Replacing 42R with 51R (as played) increases ER. In the caption of the diagram above, asterisks denote White's two errors.
There is a somewhat related third roll position in Backgammon Openings, page 42, shown below. Making the 5pt is best. Hitting (with 24/21 the best trey in that case) is merely a "mistake," whereas in Alejandro's position (diagrammed at the top of this post) hitting is surely a blunder, maybe a whopper.
Making the 10pt is way too passive below. It is more reasonable in the above position, but I still like the 5pt (at DMP or otherwise).
21S-62S-31
