In Response To: Chouette Play - Another 31 (Stick)

3/0, 3/2 leaves 4 double blotting numbers and gets hit 80/1296 on 2 ply. This play looks like you will likely leave more shots in the future.

5/4, 5/2 gets hit 92/1296 times on 2 ply and looks a lot safer in the long run. Since the opponent's board is gappy now but will not be in the future, I think we can afford to leave a few extra shots on the first shake if in return our position will play more safely in the long run.

The gammon is not quite a lock but it's close (assuming no hits). I'll go with the play which looks more safe to me in the long run: 5/4, 5/2.
