Ah, OK. I thought hitting in the particular position was automatic, and that was the only thing I wanted to say. There are many versions where I would not be sure about what to do, or where I would be sure not to hit, or where I would be sure but where my choice would be wrong.

Some variants, for example: give White a two-point board; hit or not? With a spare on the 2, without a spare on the 2, does this make a difference? Score differences? Etc.
