63 against massive back game

In the game I hit twice because I didn't want him to have the bit of timing which the checkers in the outfield represent. You can argue that I will only give him more timing by hitting but sometimes he enters deep and has to run off the 16 point giving me an opportunity to prime him.
In the game I got lucky and my plan worked out. He ended up with 7 checkers on his ace point and 8 checkers on my 3 point after he tried to go forward too early, hurting his timing and giving me a good shot at priming him which is what happened.
I have no idea how to play the 63 and will probably hit twice again because he has some good anchors and points allowing him to recirculate. An overtimed backgame is probably the best realistic plan which at least forces him to play a tricky containment game.
