42P-64 at gammon save

You're saying splitting wins at gammon save?

That's what the data claims, and I cut/pasted it without pondering the position. But now that you bring it up, S beating R (as the Gnu rollout claims) does seem strange. I would play R.

Even stranger is that P beat both S and R in another Gnu rollout [P R14 S18] but as that rollout was done first (probably Stick assigned it out) I decided it was corrupt and assumed (perhaps wrongly) that the second rollout [S R19 P21] using the same seed was done by Stick himself and therefore not corrupt. But based on the results (where R fails to win twice) it seems likely that BOTH files are corrupt.

Indeed, on close inspection, the S play is only 5k trials in both files and appears to be identical, while P and R were either rerolled or extended to 15k. All plays in both files use the same 1138804505 seed. I wasn't involved in the rollouts and it's unclear to me what happened.

I am pasting the rollout files below. Perhaps someone would like to roll out 42P-64 at gammon save on XG?
