We don't agree and here's a 2 ply RO to show you

Using any play lower than 3 ply for XG or equivilent 2 ply for GNU to RO any slightly complicated situation like this is close to being a waste of time.
2 ply lookahead is too weak to take the best advantage of being able to play from the GG score. For more proof, compare the rolled out g11 table (GNU 0-ply) to the RO'd R/K table (GNU 2 ply Supremo). 2-ply is also less likely to do as well as higher plies from the holding or back game that often results when the slots get hit.

As for 5 ply vs 4 ply or 3 ply RO's I have no idea. I also won't be doing any 5 ply opening RO's since they take about 20 times as long as 4 ply and since I will wait for XG2 and capability to use the stronger and 3 times faster XGR+ for RO's, likely with NN's that are at least a bit stronger than current.
